ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to repair a damaged nerve or infected tooth.
If a tooth becomes injured, bacteria spreading infection to the ends of the roots forming a painful abscess which most often cause severe, constant throbbing pain as well as prolonged hot and cold sensitivity, swelling and tenderness in the surrounding gums, facial swelling and discoloration of the tooth.
Inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the root canals are filled and sealed.
Once root canal treamtent is completed, the patient must have a crown placed over the tooth to protect it.
