TOOTH & WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTION

A tooth extraction is most commonly done if unable to restore from tooth decay, gum disease or dental trauma.

  • Sometimes impacted wisdom teeth are associated with recurrent infections of the adjacent tooth, and may be removed when other treatments are impossible.  

  • In orthodontics, if the teeth are crowded, extra teeth may be extracted to create space so the rest of the teeth can be straightened.
